Suning 618 "SUPER SHOW" e-commerce Gala Event was successfully held at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on June 17, 2020. As the nation's first live broadcast e-commerce show, this time there was no audience and used the way of TV program + live broadcasting + full scene interaction. The famous artists like Lay Zhang, Lun Deng, Xiaotong Guan, G.E.M, Zihan Jin and many other celebrities all performed on stage with great stage effect and live atmosphere,It also allows the audience to experience a cross-border carnival of online shopping. After the event, it caused nearly 100 trending topic on the internet. The total number of viewers on the top 10 live platforms exceeded 120 million, and the total turnover exceeded 5 billion at 23:30 that night.

The stage of super show is equipped with 3000 square meters of high-definition screens, 150 digitally controlled lifting facilities. With the use of special technologies, the stage like a sky city with perfect visual effects. Through the new model of the Gala and the integration of live broadcasts, the real-time linkage between the TV and the mobile terminal was perfectly achieved. The Gala achieved a new performance style, interactive form and consumption form from the large TV screen "cross-screen" to the mobile phone small screen.

This event has extremely high requirements on the quality and technology of on-site network lines, Venue jointly worked with the promoter to design a complete set of high-bandwidth, low-latency, high-definition live broadcast network line solutions for this event. In order to meet the demand for digital interactive activities, venue and promoter designed a diverting route from the Main Stage backstage toThe Mixing Room,as well as a series of technical solutions including terminal server encoding, platform synchronization, and switching delay, etc. This approach combines the existing IT infrastructure and network resources of venue with the flexible adjustment, rapid deployment and removal, and can be quickly modified and configured according to the actual event’s needs. Furthermore, safety and epidemicpreventionare the top priority under the epidemic situation. The Mercedes-Benz Arena has specially set up working staff face recognition machine at the gates for this event with a dedicated virtual local network to verify face information, ID cards, and QR codes, to strictly implement health monitoring.

This event actively responded to the Shanghai government's measures to boost consumption, creatively combined traditional stage performances with e-commerce live broadcasts in the form of "online variety show + online shopping", and showed the audience with a new audio-visual + consumption experience with a more enjoyable "Live online shopping" and it form a new business model.
